Presley!

On Saturday Jon and I went to the Santa Fe Shelter to look for a dog at their "Puppy Palozza" but we came home with a cat! He is the sweetest thing! We named him Presley and he is 1 1/2 years old about. He was a stray and a nice man trapped him and brought him to the shelter. He still has a cut on his nose from being on the streets, which you can see in the picture, but it's healing nicely. We played with Presley in a room for a while and he never once used his claws, not to hold on to anything or even while playing and he still has not used them, which is one thing that is great about him. As far as we know he has only used his scratching post once, which Jon heard him doing. He's very well behaved and loves to cuddle and be petted and adores human attention. Jon took him to the vets yesterday and he had to have his ears cleaned, and we need to put dropps in them for the next two weeks and give him medicine for a skin infection behind one of his ears, but other than that he is doing well. I just love him!
