Recipe Ten: Stuffed Cabbage from the Biggest Loser Family Cookbook.
Delicious! Jon even liked it. This recipe was not in the traditional rolls, but in a casserole style. The recipe called for ground chicken, but I had ground beef so I used that. Very tasty, but I forgot to add salt and pepper so it needed a bit of salt.

Recipe Eleven: Paczkis!

I used this recipe and it is good. My dough did not rise though because our apartment is quite cool. The first one in the frying pan did not cook thoroughly, but the next four I put in the microwave to make rise and they were good! We tried one and the others will be eaten tomorrow, Fat Tuesday! Yay for Paczkis on Fat Tuesday!

Finally, a new book to read

Book Five: A Short History of Women: A Novel

I'm through the first two chapters, which were ok. Each has a point of view from a different generation of female in a family. Will be interesting to see how they all tie together.

I'm so happy to be done with Living Bibilcally. That book was a bit dull for me.

Bag Completed

The bag I completed last night! I love it! Took about 4 hours to make and I learned a lot from the experience. I am really pumped to make another, just need to see what fabric I have to do so. The main fabric I used (blakc with poppies) I think I will use to make a skirt out of too in the sewing class I am starting Feb 13. I have two yards left of it, will probably have some left over to make a small purse out of once I make a skirt.

Month Two

Recipes: 67 left to go.

Books: 31.5 to go.
I having 132 pages left in Living Biblically . It's an ok book. I am learning some interesting facts about what it says in the Bible, and every now and then while reading I think "Maybe I should read the Bible", but it's not an interesting enough book that I can't put it down.

Quilts: 6 to go.
I have started cutting up some fabric for a baby quilt and have t-shirts cut up to make my KD quilt. Just need to start sewing.

Last night I took a bag making class at SF Quilting and loved it! I'm so thrilled about what I learned, especially making handles. I'm really excited to finish the bag tonight and start a new one. After what Iu learned last night I feel like I could easily replicate some of my Vera bags.
